Butter Tarts (6)- Naked

Our Naked Butter Tarts are loaded with just our award winning filling. No extras!! Many consider this the 'classic' Butter Tart but there are just as many that believe all butter tarts should have raisin, lol!!  Our "Naked" Tart has a variety of caramel tones on top. The lighter the colour, the runnier they are. Most are just the right combination of chewy vs. runny - when asked to describe the consistency we say 'it  doesn't drip like maple syrup but it oozes'

Our Pastry is all Hand Rolled, which makes our main ingredient just "a little bit of love from our bakers".  Perfect Flaky Pastry and our delicious filling make this the first variety to ever win a Medal for our store. This was at Ontario’s Largest Butter Tart Festival in Midland Ontario. For that reason, we have never changed our filling and it is the base for every variety of Butter Tart we make.
